#51. Floetry by JulietKego: Seek HIM not in walled spaces…
I wanted to go away, escape
To seek him in walled spaces
But discovered that he’s here
in familiar, strange unloved faces
In the hidden places, where we fear
in our fresh forgotten memories
Trapped in openings of veiled laces
He’s the journeys we dare not take
In the decisions we hesitate to make
In the paths we’re yet afraid to go;
In the unreachable haughty hills,
in the faithful, forlorn valleys
And in the plain plateaus
sighing softly, in between.
He dwells in the sinner and the saint
In the formed and transforms to the formless
We run, hide from the light and the darkness
In the void and in the fullness of creation
He resides in us; recites words through us,
Unknown, he lives in a breath; yours, mine.
Souls call out and a new story unfolds
In revealed, layered divinity,
I am he, and you are he
seek him not blindly in walled spaces
you will find him around and within
In soundless whispers of an inner wind.
